Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian and activist. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her career as an actress when she was a young girl, shortly after moving to the United States. She is most famous for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020 (since). She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also played an actor in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. After being cast in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents and her fled antisemitism when she was two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. Because of financial struggles within the family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of school following her sophomore year. She was able to get an GED and then went on to get a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied improv comedy.
